Ashley and I want to welcome you to our hiking website and we hope that you find it helpful in locating and learning about great trails and hikes. This site originally began as a personal blog in 2007 to inform family and friends of the hikes we did and as a way to share pictures with them of the places we visited. After a while, we started receiving comments from other hikers asking us about how to find the trails that we had been hiking. Because of the comments, we decided to change the blogs format, in late 2008 through early 2009, into a true website that was designed to help people find trails as well as helpful information on things that pertain to hiking and the outdoors. Readership and feedback has steadily increases since the change of the blog in 2008/2009. Our favorite hike/most memorable hike has to be our first together as a couple to the top of Mt. San Jacinto. It was an awesome hike that provided us with challenges which cemented our relationship into what it is today.
