Villatoro Santos, a Salvadoran national living illegally in the U.S., was charged with illegal possession of a firearm after authorities found multiple guns, ammunition, and suppressors in his home. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi described him as one of the top three MS-13 leaders in the United States and the head of the gang’s East Coast operations, emphasizing his involvement in violent crimes. The operation was hailed as a significant step in the Trump administration’s crackdown on transnational gangs, with President Donald Trump and Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin praising the effort. The FBI on Thursday announced the arrested a top MS-13 gang member in Virginia. The unnamed suspect, 24, was taken into custody in Woodbridge, Virginia (Just the News).
