Good Grief: Washington Post Editorial Board Chooses “Authoritarian” China Over Trump’s America

One would think that an American news outlet would try and support America, but, the WP editorial board is telling us who they are

This U.S.-China trade war might not end well

President Donald Trump’s climbdown from his sweeping and ill-considered worldwide tariffs brought temporary relief to global markets on Wednesday. But his escalating import levies against China, and Beijing’s determination to fight back, leave the world’s two largest economies locked in a potentially devastating trade war. Unless this ends quickly, both economies could be damaged, and collateral harm could be done to supply chains and trade ties across Asia and the world.

China has massive tariffs on US goods, plus, currency manipulation and a whole host of other shady things. But, the WPEB would prefer that China win, not Orange Man Bad. Let’s go all the way to the end, skipping over what looks like a love fest for China and their communist regime

Other countries, even longtime U.S. allies, might find China to be a more reliable trading partner. They might appreciate the stability that China’s authoritarian, state-controlled system provides for long-term planning — in contrast to the ever-changing demands emanating from an erratic U.S. president. If this comes to pass, it will be the worst unintended consequence of Trump’s trade war with China.

We’ve seen this again and again, with Democrat run news outlets loving them some authoritarian, state controlled systems. They are reliable: for breaking promises, undermining trading partners, and stealing intellectual property. How many of these editorial board members are on China’s payroll? Does Jeff Bezos approve of this China love? Does the WPEB approve of the child and slave labor used to make cheap goods?
