Located in France and Spain, mountains of the Pyrenees form a natural border between the Iberian Peninsula and the main continent of Europe, defining the border between the countries of Spain and France. This mountain range is very strange. There have been reports of UFOs/UAPs seen along this mountain range. Strange sounds, like machinery are heard inside the mountain range. During the War of the Spanish Succession in 1707, a 4000-man invasion force under the Habsburg Archduke, Charles, camped at the foot of the Pyrenees on their way to Spain, breaking camp the following morning and marching through a mountain pass. This well-armed and equipped force never reached its goal, nor was it ever accounted for. Where did 4000 soldiers go? If this legend is true, I want to know more about the Pyrenees Mountains.

From the humanoid sighting reports at this mountain range, Albert Rosales has a report that occurred on January 11, 1967, at Aveyron Basses Pyrenees Mountains, France. This incident happened at 9pm. The witness saw a “shell” shaped object taking off from his farm. The witness chased what he called a ball of light with his car. The ball of light always stayed 150 yards ahead of his moving vehicle. At some point of time the car engine stalls, the lights on his car go out. When this happened a saucer shaped craft came down. The object was 9 to 12 feet off the ground and 60 feet away from the witness’ car. The object had two transparent cupolas. In each cupola, the witness could see a helmeted figure, human like and dressed in green and white coveralls. He felt a wave of heat and partial paralysis. With a whistling sound, the UFO rose to a 50-yard altitude, dropped back again to near ground level, then was enveloped in a brilliant yellow white light. The object then shot off at a tremendous speed. The speed of the craft was faster than any man-made craft. After the UFO departed, everything went back to normal again. The car started back up, lights came on. For the next few weeks, the witness had sleeping problems. The location on where the witness saw the UFO, there was an influx of UFO activity that lasted for 3 weeks. It was also interesting to note that Albert Rosales sleeping problems lasted for 3 weeks. When the UFOs left, Albert’s sleeping problems ended.

UNDERGROUND ALIEN BASE?
Another interesting fact is that the CIA was experimenting with remote viewing and one of their best remote viewers was the late Patrick Price, an exceptionally gifted psychic employed by a CIA contractor in the 1970s. According to Captain Frederick H. Atwater, a retired US Army officer also involved at the time in highly classified ‘remote viewing’ experiments for the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency, as well as for the Army’s Intelligence and Security Command, Price had remotely viewed four alien bases on Earth, one of which was located under Mount Ziel, Northern Territory. Mount Ziel lies some 80 miles west-northwest of Pine Gap. Price believed the base contained a mixture of ‘personnel’ from the other bases, one purpose being to ‘transport new recruits, with an overall monitoring function’. The other bases were said to be under Mount Perdido in the Pyrenees, Mount Inyangani in Zimbabwe, and, coincidentally, in Alaska, under Mount Hayes. Price described the occupants as ‘looking like homo sapiens, except for the lungs, heart, blood and eyes’.

I can only wonder if there is a connection to the missing people and a possible extraterrestrial underground base. Are people being abducted, so that aliens can experiment on them? Notable cases of missing people are:
Esther Dingley, a British hiker who went missing on November 2020 and whose remains were found in 2021. She was hiking alone in the Pyrenees. Her remains were found in July 2021 near the Port de la Glère mountain pass. Her boyfriend, Daniel Colegate, reported her missing after she failed to return from her solo trip. Esther was known to be an experienced hiker, and it didn’t make sense on why she failed on this hike. A hike that lead to her demise.

Other Disappearances:
In August 2024, a retired British doctor, Tom Doherty, went missing while hiking and camping near Col d’Escots in the French Pyrenees. A search and rescue operation was launched, but the search was eventually called off. In June 2024, a 70-year-old British hiker was found dead in the Pyrenees mountains after a four-day search.

Factors Contributing to Disappearances:
The Pyrenees are a remote and rugged mountain range, which can make navigation difficult and increase the risk of accidents. People who visit the mountain range suspect that UFOs are the reason for all of the missing people. While other people believe the missing people experienced harsh weather conditions that brought danger in their hike, which either lead them to be missing or to be found dead. The weather in the Pyrenees can be unpredictable and change rapidly, making it dangerous for hikers.

Cryptids in the Pyrenees Mountains
Missing people, UFOs, a possible underground alien base makes the Pyrenees Mountains a very strange place. There have also been reports of cryptids on this mountain range. Gabriel Bossu who has camped out at this mountain range claims he encountered the “Werewolf of the Pyrenees Mountains”. This creature tore his tent and when Gabriel turned on his flashlight, the creature ran off. It’s interesting that Gabriel mentions a werewolf in this region, as there was a werewolf that terrorized the people of France and is known as the Beast of Gevaudan. Dominique Valtille tells us of a French legend of “Cheval Malet”. A black horse that entices people to ride her and she takes them away and they are never seen again. Dominique claims to have encountered this horse and wanted to befriend the horse, but something in her mind told her to stop and walk away from the horse, because she was in danger. Dominique was hiking with 2 other friends and when she told her friends, they went back to see the horse and the horse was not there. Another case is the case of Hugo Alonzo. Hugo who was on a hunting trip on this mountain range, saw a bright light through the trees. Hugo then saw the silhouette of a giant man who must have been 15 feet tall. The giant man was surrounded by 3 small humanoids. Hugo believes he encountered the “Jentiles”. Jentiles are either giants or dwarves. Hugo observed them for about 2 minutes and then there was another flash of light, and they were gone. Could these creatures that Hugo saw be extraterrestrials that reside in the underground alien base? A hiker named Adan Ruiz claims to have seen the “Anjanas” flying about in the bushes and trees. Anjanas are fairies. Adan’s story is interesting, because fairies are at times associated with UFOs. Fairies are small creatures, so are some extraterrestrials like the “Grays”. Grays are at times seen carrying a small wand, which can cause paralysis. Fairies are known to carry wands. There are crop circles, UFO nests. Fairies have “fairy circles”. Fairies are known to abduct children. Extraterrestrials are known to take fetuses from pregnant mothers. The list goes on and on, but I think you see the connection.

Is there an underground alien base at the Pyrenees Mountains? It seems that way, with so many sightings of UFOs/UAPs on this mountain range and reports of UFOs flying into the mountain and flying out of the mountain. Mechanical devices heard inside the mountain, cryptids being seen. What I can tell you is that this mountain range is very STRANGE!
