Does this surprise anyone that the announcement waited until after Nov. 8 and Dec 6. GA runoff Elections?? Call my cynical, but it is obvious to me that they knew such a ridiculous swap (an arms dealer, for a moron WNBA player) wouldn’t sell, and therefore waited. And, again, meanwhile a guy who did nothing – held as a political hostage in Russia. Tell us, just what incentive does Russia have to earnestly discuss the release of Whelan now except for some other known Spy or ProRussia Terrorists (plural)?!?!
