Obama: “No Serious Person Thinks It Is Possible to Even Rig An Election”

Obama said, “The larger point I want to emphasize here is that there is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections, in part because they are so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved.  There is no evidence that that has happened in the past, or that there are instances in which that will happen this time.”

So, how is it Obama now wants to wage war with Russia over something for which “no serious person out there would suggest”?

Obama then told Trump to “quit whining and make his case to the American people.”  Trump took Obama’s advice and did in fact in go back to make his case in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin where he went on to defeat Clinton as these states became key to Trump’s victory.  It seems Obama should have given some of that advice to Clinton.  I guess Trump whining before an election is bad and shows weakness, but Hillary’s and Obama’s whining after an election is okay and shows leadership and strength.

Obama cited it as ridiculous that the election could be hacked and went on to say, “It happens to be based on facts that every expert, regardless of political party, regardless of ideology, conservative or liberal, who has ever examined these issues in a serious way, will tell you that instances of significant voter fraud are not to be found.”

So, why is it Obama now wants to not only walk back his statements, but has initiated a complete180-degree reversal?  It seems he has engaged in a radical departure from these previous statements in the press he had made when he and everyone else was sure Clinton was going to win. 

Obama then went on to state, “Keep in mind that elections are run by state and local officials, which means that there are places like Florida for example where you got a Republican governor  who is a, – Republican appointees are going to be running, and monitoring a whole bunch of these election sites, the notion that somehow if Mr. Trump loses Florida, it is because of those people that you have to watch out for.”  Obama went on to say that the making of such accusations  “is both irresponsible, and by the way, doesn’t really show the kind of leadership and toughness that you’d want out of  a president.” 

I guess this doesn’t show the kind of toughness you expect from a president unless these are statements made by Hillary and Obama after she lost “Obama’s third term”.

Obama then went on to state that,  “When things going badly for you, and you start blaming somebody else, then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job.” 

So, by Obama’s definition, neither he nor Hillary has “what it takes to be in this job”.  I believe him and accept everything he said in his speech, but why is it now that not a single news agency, Democratic politician, or liberal commentator calls attention to what Obama said before Hillary lost?  A “House of Cards” writer could not write a funnier script.

Obama also stated that, “If he (Trump) got the most votes, then it would be my expectation of Hillary Clinton to offer a gracious concession speech and pledge to work with him in order to make sure that the American people benefit from an effective government.”

But, it now seems both Obama and Clinton have attempted to sour the relationship between Russia and the future Trump administration and have done everything to make the choice of the American people for Office of President of the United States out to be a Manchurian Candidate who only won because Putin had done what Obama had stated here as being an impossibility. 

Obama added that, “One way of weakening America and making it less great is if you start betraying those basic American traditions that have been bipartisan and have helped hold together this democracy for well over two centuries.”

Yet, it was Clinton and the DNC who worked to get Electoral College voters to overturn well over two centuries of democracy by encouraging them to go against the will of the American people.  It would seem once again that Obama and Clinton want it both ways.  The election could never be stolen according to Obama, apparently except by Putin after Hillary was defeated.  Even though Trump won over 2,000 more counties than did Clinton, Obama and Clinton now want Americans to somehow believe that Putin was able to control thousands of voting booths in places that were previously Democratic strongholds as Russia stands accused of hacking the vote.  What is even funnier here is that the US has interfered with elections in dozens of countries that range from funding civil wars, initiating false flag attacks and assassinating politicians, to funding fascist political parties through CIA front groups working as NGOs.  It appears the chickens have come home to roost as the US government continues to make a fool of itself.

It seems this election campaign of it first being impossible to hack the vote, to it suddenly becoming that the vote was hacked, is another case of Hillary, Obama and the DNC wanting it both ways.  Hillary said her unsecured email server that has sat for four years in a bathroom in Arkansas was never breached by Russian or any other intelligence agency as she had information classified above Top Secret routed and stored there, but now she wants all of America to believe that Putin hacked secured servers from the DNC, to include Podesta’s emails, an allegation that many experts have already described as being an inside leak by a betrayed Sanders supporter. 

The sad part of this episode is that nobody in the mainstream media called mention to Obama’s reversal on the issue of it being impossible for the vote to be hacked.  It also seems there would have been plenty of funny material for Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Trevor Noah, The View, Jimmy Falon, Seth Meyers and Bill Maher to add to there shows, but not a single joke was made about such an obviously absurd situation.
