Following the 4.5 hours of talks held between high-level Russian-American negotiators in Saudi Arabia yesterday, it was reported: “Crude oil prices rose today following a drone attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and cold weather in the United States, both disruptive to production…Flows along the Caspian Pipeline Consortium infrastructure had dropped by between 30% and 40% on Tuesday following the terrorist attack that involved seven unmanned aerial vehicles carried out by Ukrainian forces”.

Though traveling through Russia, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline and pumping stations are majority owned and operated by American and European oil giants to keep fuel prices low for their nations—because the Ukrainian terrorist attack on the CPC has no effect on Russia at all, President Putin declared: “Since the Western companies are interested in restoring the facility’s operational capacity, then let them arrange for the necessary equipment delivery despite all the sanctions”, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov advised Western leaders: “Zelensky and his whole team need to be brought to their senses, given a slap on the wrist”.

Quickly giving “a slap on the wrist” to President Zelensky was President Donald Trump, who stated about him yesterday: “You should have never started it — you could have made a deal…I like him personally, but it is the leadership that allowed the war to go on…The leader in Ukraine is down at 4% approval ratings…Wouldn’t the people of Ukraine need to have an election?…Ukraine is being wiped out”—President Putin factually stated today: “Russia has never walked away from the negotiation process with Ukraine, never…It was Kiev that banned officials from engaging in any talks with Moscow…It withdrew from the Istanbul negotiations and publicly announced it”—President Trump envoy Keith Kellogg arrived in Kiev today and told Ukrainian officials: “Part of my mission is to sit and listen and see what your concerns are”—and independent American defense experts just proclaimed: “Shock waves are being felt in Kyiv and Europe as America’s position on Ukraine and Russia is morphing at a breakneck pace”.

As President Trump moves at “a breakneck pace” to end the Ukraine conflict, Director Dariusz Lukowski of the Polish National Security Bureau exclaimed in frustration: “We tried to ask the American side about their negotiating strategy, but no specifics were given” and stated: “Europe as a whole doesn’t have the 100,000 troops ready that would be required for patrolling the over 1,000-kilometer-long frontline in Ukraine”—then CEO Armin Papperger of German arms manufacturing giant Rheinmetall revealed about the weapons and ammunition currently available: “The Europeans and the Ukrainians have nothing in their depots”.
