Yesterday (4/2/2025), I received a call on the paranormal hotline from a gentleman named Rudy. Rudy lives in Pacific Heights in San Bruno, CA. Rudy tells me that on 3/16/2025 he was driving down Sharp Park Road in Pacifica. As he was driving down this winding road, he noticed a black car with hazard lights on. Rudy did not see anyone near or around the car and kept going. As the car disappeared, out of view, he saw a woman dressed in all black. The woman wore a long flowing black dress, her face looked angry and somewhat distorted. When Rudy looked at the woman’s face, chills went down his back. Rudy felt like he was looking at something evil. Rudy thought the woman was a witch. When Rudy’s eyes connected with this strange woman, he felt a hot sensation engulf his whole body. Rudy felt his body was somehow overheating. The woman was pointing at something down the hill, off the road. Rudy kept driving, whatever Rudy saw, he didn’t want any part of it. As Rudy looked in his rear-view mirror the evil faced woman had disappeared. Rudy wondered if he just saw a ghostly witch.
One hour later, Rudy was driving back home, and the creepy woman was gone, and the stalled out black vehicle was also gone. Rudy mentioned his experience with his closest friends. One of Rudy’s friends named Lorenzo says one day he was driving down Sharp Park Road and heard a woman screaming. Lorenzo stopped his car to see where the screaming was coming from. Then all of a sudden, the woman’s scream came from all over, as if she was going around in circles, around Lorenzo. Lorenzo thought this was too crazy and immediately left the scene.
When I received Rudy’s story, I did some researching and discovered that Sharp Park Road is connected to the Gypsy Hill Killings that happened in 1976. 18-year-old Veronica Cascio was found in a creek near Sharp Park Golf Course in Pacifica, face down in the creek and stabbed 30 times. 14-year-old Tatiana Blackwell was stabbed multiple times and found lying off Sharp Park Road. I only wonder if the woman dressed in black is connected to these murders. Was the lady in black a murder victim pointing to where her body might be at? When these murders were taking place, the media called the culprit the San Mateo Slasher. Come to find out the San Mateo Slasher was actually 2 individuals. The killers were Rodney Halbower and Leon Seymour. Rodney is credited with 4 murders, possibly 2 more. While Leon is credited for only 1 murder. What is interesting is that Rudy saw a black stalled out car. The victims of the San Mateo Slasher had stalled out vehicles.
There have been other deaths on Sharp Park Road. There was once a multi-casualty auto accident that happened on this road, where 7 people were severely injured. Recently as 2005, 2 students from Terra Nova High School were killed when their truck hit a tree. Rudy is searching for the answers on what he saw and asked me on what steps he needs to take, to ghost hunt. I explained some basic ghost hunting techniques with Rudy. Rudy and Lorenzo are going to do some ghost hunting on Sharp Park Road. Rudy and Lorenzo believe this road is truly haunted. Rudy is going to give me a full report on what they find.
